The best way to explore Dresden is to do walking tour through the Old Town combined with a cruise on the Elbe River.
DresdenWalks offers both. Join our walking tour which starts daily at 11 a.m. at our green sign at the Schlossplatz square. Get to know more about the Semper Opera House, the Catholic Church, the Zwinger, the Residential Palace, the Procession of Princes and the Frauenkirche.
And relax afterwards on one of the historical paddle steamers or modern motor vessels and cruise along the Elbe valley to the Dresden suburbs, to Pillnitz, the Saxon Switzerland or to Meissen.
Join a 90min city tour/cruise starting at 11am, 1pm, 3pm daily or 5pm (Thursday-Sunday during high season). Â
Cruise to Pillnitz Park and Palace at 9.15am, 10am, 12noon, 1pm, 2pm, 4pm (various times available for return trip as well) or cruise to Meissen at 9.45am (return cruise after 3h stay in Meissen possible) or 4.30pm (return possible via train).
