As a trained architect I am fascinated by the splendor of Dresden’s historical architecture. Having spent some time abroad I moved to Dresden. I have been living here for 11 years now.
Since 2004 I have been working as a tour guide to show the beauty of this city to my guests. Its unique history, the wonderful landscape and cultural landmarks around the capital are the main themes of my guided tours in and around Dresden.

I grew up in a small town in the very centre of Saxony. I kind of fell in love with this much bigger place when I saw it first in 1992.
So I decided to stay. At first sight I was attracted by the studen`ts and artists`s quarter, where I still live today. Some time later I “discovered” step by step, that we have an incredible rich tradition in culture, architecture and … history!
I therefore improve my wide-spreaded interests and knowledges in Dresden and Saxony nearly every day.
For a couple of years now it is my profession to show guests the beauty of the Elbe-valley on both sides of the river.

Born in Germany, my parents decided to move to Spain and seek some sun when I was six years old. After finishing studies and having moved around the world for some time, I decided to settle down in a perfect place to live: Dresden.
For many years I worked as an architect until finally I decided to swap my career to become a successful tour guide. For me, this meant utilising my hobbies and passions in my work: people, stories, history and languages.
My delight in storytelling, my great sense of humour and my eagerness to share knowledge will ensure that you won’t forget Dresden!

As a native Dresdener I spent almost all my life in this area and would be happy to introduce you to my wonderful hometown.
Having lived in the United States for a couple of years and travelled quite a bit around the world, I improved my English skills a lot.
Tour guiding became more and more interesting to me during my first full time job in a destination management company. Discovering a lot about our history and telling about it to my guests became my passion.

I was not born in Dresden, but my family moved to this city when I was a small child. I arrived in Dresden, to a place full of ruins. An impression which I have never forgotten.
After my studies of English and Russian language and literature I graduated as a Highschool teacher. But I changed my mind and became a free lance guide and tour escort instead. After a few years working as a travel counsellor at the American Express Business Travel office, I became a free lance guide again focusing on cultural and music tours.
Dresden, Saxony is my passion, followed by travelling. And when I was just flying in from Mexico, I was convinced that there is no better place to live, to enjoy arts and culture than here in the Elbe Valley. So- I am at your disposal and I am looking forward to meeting you

I was born in Meissen, the ‘cradle of Saxony’, and raised in a town nearby. I moved to Dresden in 2000 where I still nowadays live with my family.
After studying English at the university for two years I became a travel agent. I have always worked in tourism and have been guiding national and international guests since then.
I have great pleasure in showing people the beauty and diversity of Dresden and the surrounding region.

I was born in Berlin, but have spent almost all my life in Dresden. My familiy comes from the “Upper Valley of the Elbe”, the beautiful landscape around the capital of Saxony. So it is kind of a personal need for me to explore and communicate the history of this country.
What I love most about my hometown is the harmony between landscape and architecture, which still often exists. Beside that I consider it fascinating, how all arts and many sciences have met here to create new qualities of both.
Since I am a trained singer and have gained a certain experience concerning working on stage, I also add something to the rich cultural Dresden traditions by working as a freelance singer and singing teacher.
