The Saxon Steamboat Company celebrates its 175th anniversary in 2011. The fleet of the Saxon Steamboat Company has the oldest und most paddle steamers in the world. Nine historic paddle steamers between 82 and 132 years old belong to the Steamboat Company. Two large motor vessels and two small motor vessels complete the fleet. They not only cruise between Meißen and Bad Schandau but also pass through one of the most beautiful river landscapes in Europe and the Dresden Elbe valley.

From 9th April 2011 applies the summer timetable with daily tours such as starting at the Dresden Terrassenufer to the River Palaces and the “Blue Wonder†Bridge. On 1st May there is traditionally a big steamboat parade on the Elbe River.

And now you can enjoy this excellent service in combination with one of our guided walks. From 21st April 2011 DresdenWalks has a unique offer. Combine cruise and city walk and save 2 Euros. All details can be seen at: DresdenWalks Combo.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard!
