NEW EXHIBITION AT THE PALACE IN THE GREAT GARDEN:
It is a must for flower lovers! ‘Springtime in Dresden’ takes already place for the 4th time and is a big flower and floristry exhibition.
Landscape architects and market gardens have changed the old baroque palace in the Great Garden into a colorful dream with more than 25,000 flowers (mainly primeroses, tulips and daffodils), 500 shrubs and 2,000 herb- and medical plants.
Visitors can expect a floral journey through the time starting with garden Eden and continuing with Antique, Gothic, Baroque and Classic up to Modern gardens. The variety of plants and colors is combined with light- and instrumental installations as well as original Baroque sculptures.
The exhibition is opened on 2nd March and lasts until 11th May. Opening hours: daily 9 AM – 8 PM. The entrance is 7/5 € p.p.
The Great Garden is located not far away from the Castle Square where we start our English walking tours daily at 11AM!
